Buzz Bingo Players on Winning Streak with Seventh Winner of £50,000 National Game Jackpot

Buzz Bingo, the UK’s largest retail Bingo operator, has announced the seventh winner of the national £50,000 jackpot in-club, following a mammoth six winners in just two weeks across UK towns including Feltham, Blackburn, Wednesbury, Dover, Arbroath and Gateshead.

This comes as Buzz Bingo players have celebrated as many £50,000 wins in 2019 to date as they did in the whole of 2018 on the National Bingo Game, taking home a combined total of more than £3m from all National Bingo games across £100, £1,000 and £50,000 wins.

Shirley, aged 58 from Leeds, took home the winnings on 12 May. She won the life-changing prize in just 16 numbers, beating thousands of other players live across the country.

A regular at the club for 23 years, Shirley said: “I’m so grateful to have won the £50,000 jackpot! The most I have ever won is £2,500 so I couldn’t quite believe it. I still find myself shaking when I tell people about it.”

Now, Buzz Bingo will be hosting a party held to celebrate the lucky jackpot winner taking home the £50,000 prize. The party will be held in the Leeds club, in Stonebridge Lane, on 8th June at 6pm with a glass of fizz for guests and a free Main Event game to help get the party started.

She added: “A huge thanks to Buzz Bingo, the staff were amazing when we won and we were treated like superstars! I very much look forward to splitting it with my friend, Dawn, who was with me on the night. I’ll be treating myself and my family to a skiing holiday in Sweden or Finland next year.”

To win the top £50,000 prize, players must call a full-house of ten numbers within sixteen numbers being called, whilst racing against the rest of the nation’s bingo players live on the night to get that big prize.

The past seven winners of the National Bingo Game jackpot have all occurred in Buzz Bingo clubs. Players have now taken home a combined total of £3,007,900 on the National Bingo across £100, £1,000 and £50,000 wins. The six winners who came before Shirley include:
